We go over to Orcas Island every year for this pizza and the ride up Mt. Constitution. It is some of the best pizza I've ever eaten.

Like our pods of Orca Whales, menu items sometimes take a vacation from the San Juan Islands - like the calzones at Portifinos on Orcas Island. It is a mystry where they went. I am just glad they are back so I can resume my Friday night ritual of starting my island weekend with this tasty treat. I know, I know it is the same thing they put on pizza - but it is different - I don't know why. Oh joy - calzones are back!
